ADVANCED LEVEL COURSES

The following adventures are for those who are ready for more committing and aggressive challenges - these trips are clearly marked Advanced Level Courses Anyone who wishes to take part in an Advanced Level Course must have a fair amount of mountaineering, rock or ice climbing experience. Vertical World Adventures prefers that all Advanced Level participants have had prior Introductory and Intermediate Level experience. Working knowledge of the climbing equipment (harness, helmet, belay device, ice axes, crampons, extraction tool) as well as how to tie various climbing knots (figure eight follow through, clove hitch, girth hitch and prusik) are prerequisite for all Advanced Level Courses.
